Saffron Care Homes has built up a healthy level of respect in the local community since first offering professional packages in 1996.

Living spaces
The dining room offers home-cooked meals using familiar ingredients. The popular and nutritious menus change daily and tour in-house cooks will prepare an alternative to the main choice for anyone who might fancy something different. We can also cater for special dietary requirements. As well as main meals, hot and cold drinks and snacks are available at any time. If you prefer you can eat your meals as and where you like; including the main lounge, bedroom or garden. If family want to visit at lunchtime we can make it an occasion.
There is a large communal lounge where residents can spend their leisure time, watching movies and sporting events together. The garden is at the rear of the house. We have a large “Beach Hut” for year-round activities. In the summer months, parties and events all take place outside, weather permitting. The garden itself is large and well-tended with level walkways, a BBQ area and pool/water activities during the summer months.
Bedrooms
Each service user has their own bedroom with ensuite shower facilities.
Bedrooms are decorated to a high standard and colours and décor are tailored around the service users’ needs and preferences. With input from family members, we ensure that all decisions are person-centred.
Comprehensive assessment of needs
Every resident has a detailed and comprehensive assessment of needs carried out in their own home, or wherever they currently reside, by one of our senior staff members prior to admission. This is retained on file and will form the basis of their personal care plan.
Prospective residents can come for the day, then it is a four-week trial to find out if Arlington House would be right for them. Each individual, with their own particular character and abilities, has differing social, emotional and health needs, likes and dislikes. These may change in the normal course of events as the condition progresses. Everyone’s care plan is updated when required. We keep a comprehensive record of all healthcare professional visits made to residents. All residents’ records can be inspected by the resident’s family or relevant authorised representatives.
